Worship

Course Summary

This unit explores worship both as a gathered practice and as a way of life. Students consider the biblical and theological foundations of worship, historic liturgy, and the Vineyard’s Kingdom theology and Spirit-led approach, including John Wimber’s legacy and his five-phase model of worship. Alongside teaching from the lecturer, experienced worship leaders share how this works in practice, and students reflect together on their own experience. Topics range from accessibility, justice and healing to creativity, community and shaping local rhythms of worship.
