Healing Prayer

Course Summary

This unit explores the theology and practice of healing prayer within the Vineyard tradition. Students examine the connection between healing and the Kingdom of God, why healing is an essential focus of Vineyard ministry, and the practical dynamics of praying for others — including healing of body, emotions and spirit, and ministering wisely in cases of demonisation. The unit gives attention to relational and pastoral dimensions of sickness and death, and to how healing ministry is transferred responsibly into the life of the local church.
